HALLIDAY, Dennis - Peacefully at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Monday, December 31st, 2018 in his 69th year. Dennis Halliday of Pembroke, beloved husband of Anne-Marie Halliday (nee Pleau). Loving father of Marie (Michael) Howlett and Elizabeth. Loving Poppa of Castin, Benjamin and Ashdon Howlett, James (Kayla), Tate and Rachelle Laliberte (former-son-law Jim). Great Poppa to new arrival Lennon Laliberte. Dear brother of Lawrence (Judy), James (Debbie), Thomas, Stanley (Laurette), Patrick (Kathy) and Terrance "Chuck". Caring brother-in-law to Allen McCarter, Dale Halliday, Hélène and Terry Giroux, Roger and Marjorie Pleau, Gilbert and Beverly Pleau. Predeceased by parents Orville and Marie Halliday (nee Audette); by in-laws Gerald and Alice Pleau, by brothers Donald, Clayton, Jack, Robert and Alfred, by sisters Lillian McCarter and Irene Burke, by sisters-in laws Reita, Jeanette and Anne. Survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Respecting Dennis' wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will occur for family and friends on Saturday, January 19th at the Royal Canadian Legion, 202 Pembroke Street East from 11:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be grately appreciated.
