George Chester of Pembroke, beloved husband of 64 years to the late Linda Lou Chester (nee Seymour). Loving father of Rickey (Kathryn), Randy, Charlene (Robert “Frank”) Francoeur and Cathy Penn. Predeceased by parents George and Rose Marie Chester (nee Howard). Respecting George’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Born in Winchester, ON, George had a love for repairing anything from the time he was young. Mechanics, classic cars and anything to do with the army. He carried this into his life and carriers both military and civilian. He also very much enjoyed his and Linda Lou's many years spent at Mac's Ce-Dar-Est in Eganville. Where he could be seen in Mac's garage, fixing some thing big or small. He enjoyed visiting on his golf cart with his dog Brandy at his side or from time to time his grandchildren. George has always been young at heart so he has gone to do what he loved, his most favorite thing. Moon lighting at a Auto Garage in Heaven. The lights will be left on, the doors will always be open with a cool one in the fridge (Blue of course) and much cheering on deck for the Boston Bruins. No worries if you cheer for another team his smile and wink will say it all! Thank you to Marianhill and it's staff. A special thank you to B wing for the TLC given to both Linda Lou and George. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Pembroke on Saturday, June 22nd, 2019 from 1p.m. - 6 p.m. Arrangements by the
