MARSDEN, Penny - It is with great sadness the Marsden family announces the passing of Penny Marsden at the age of 71. Penny passed peacefully Sunday August 11, 2019 under the loving care of Marianhill nursing staff. Penny’s two great loves in life were children and music. She spent much of her life enjoying and caring for the children of others in her role as the best babysitter on Isabella Street. She also enjoyed teaching children the piano and music for many years. Penny participated in the Community choir and was most proud of her role in playing the organ at Holy Name Church for many years. Penny was the daughter of the late Michael and Patricia Marsden. She is survived by her brothers Michael and Christopher, and sisters Linda Greenslade, Madeline Grant, and Patricia (Patsy) Thompson. Predeceased by sister Lorna Hughes.
