Stephen was my cousin. I remember spending time with him growing up and remember playing on the farm in Stouffville. The last time I saw Stephen he had come to my house in Aurora to pick up some hockey tickets for Leafs game. We talked for a while...it was nice to catch up but also easy with Stephen as he had such a soft, caring and gentle soul. He then had to go as he was bringing ice cream home and knew his daughter Cali would be wondering where he was. When he spoke about Cali his eyes and face lite up with pure love and joy and he spoke of her with such pride.
Stephen and I were born the same year, 1971 so it is with a very heavy heart and such sadness to know that he is no longer with us.
I am sending my love and support to my Aunt Pauline, and my cousins David, Jason and Tommy. As my gramma Jean used to say so beautifully, "It's not good bye, it's only so long". Take comfort in the "so long". I love you all and I am here for you.
All my love, Lisa
